Terms of sale and license
Last updated October 21, 2026.
These terms cover buying and using Kinergy from Kinergy Audio, operated by Wes Smith in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA ("we"). By buying or using Kinergy you agree to them.
Who you buy from
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the purchase itself.
Your license
- A license lets one person use Kinergy on the computers they own or use for their work. There is no limit on how many of your own computers you install it on.
- Your license file carries your name and email. Please don't share it. A shared license file can be disabled in a later update.
- You can use Kinergy commercially: the audio you process with it is yours.
- You may not resell, rent, or redistribute Kinergy or its license files, or remove or work around its license checks.
- Kinergy stays the property of Kinergy Audio. You're buying a license to use it, not the software itself.
Demo and beta versions
The free demo and any beta builds are for evaluation. Beta builds stop working on the date given when you receive them.
Updates
Updates to Kinergy are free for license holders. We may change features between versions.
Refunds
See our refund policy.
No warranty
Kinergy is provided as is. We work hard to make it reliable, but we don't promise it will be free of errors or work with every system. Always keep backups of your sessions and audio.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about Kinergy is limited to the amount you paid for it. We're not liable for lost data, lost work, or indirect damages.
Changes and law
We may update these terms, and the date at the top will change when we do. The version in place when you bought applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, except where your local consumer law gives you rights that can't be waived.
